The epic t60 is solely sold at costco. It has amenities for general fitness training in a house gym. It is priced below $1,000 but lacks the ruggedness of additional treadmills on the market.

The epic t60 has a padded adjustable deck with a big surface and will support up to 350 pounds. It has a 3hp commercial continuous duty motor and a power incline. The treadmill is suitable for either light or intense weight loss or common sports training. Displays on the epic t60 show time, distance, calories burned, speed, pulse from the  sensor grips and heart rate with an optional chest pulse detector.

The epic t60 treadmill comes with pre-programmed or customizable workout programs and may tie into ifit.Com, icon's interactive workout site. Using the optional chest sensor will allow ifit to control the speed and incline of the treadmill to respond to the user's feedback to give a more efficient workout. Entertainment devices can be used with the epic t60 to make training more enjoyable. You can hook your ipod to it or just place in front of the television and get your workout while watching your favorite program. There are many programs on the market that give different settings or places that you can invision yourself running in. They are available on dvd or video cassette.

The epic t60 is made to be folded away for storage. It can be placed in the corner of a room, up under the bed, hidden away in the closet or just simply leaned up against the wall. The motor has a twelve-year warranty, the frame a fifteen year warranty and parts & labor have a one year warranty.

Concerns with the epic t60 treadmill are the keypad, which is a problem on various icon models, the deck coating does not hold up, and the rollers on the deck are a bargain. An extended warranty from universal technical services (uts) would be worth the money. That way if the parts are defective, you can send them back with no out of pocket cost to you. The most you will end up paying is shipping and handling.
