The Bowflex Treadclimber: Moving On Up To The Big Time

Because the Bowflex Treadclimber provides both cardiovascular exercise and resistance training, it is a better choice over a standard treadmill.  A standard treadmill gets you up and walking and that's good. It benefits your heart.

Treadmills have a single platform that can be raised and lowered like a hill.  But the Bowflex features independently operated foot platforms that encourage more natural walking and stepping motion for maximum comfort during your work out.

If you can walk and chew gum, you'll be able to use the console area where you can place a water bottle, view the LCD screen to see your progress, or prop up a magazine. Be aware that it takes phenomenal eye-foot coordination to  be able to actually read that magazine while you're moving along. Following the example of commercial gyms, you could actually watch the soaps or look out a window instead.
